Community Companies CIC is a subsidiary company of Incorporation Services Limited, a company registration agency which has been in business in Newcastle upon Tyne since 1978.
Directors and managers
Jim Lowe (director) has been a lecturer in company law and related topics since 1970, specialising in solicitors' and accountants' professional training and courses for small businesses. Publications include several books on company law, contributions to legal periodicals and major practitioners' works. Since 1978 he has also been in business providing company law, company formation, information and company secretarial services to the legal and accounting professions. From 1982 to 1991 he was a regional director of a major national company registration company. In 1991 he founded Incorporation Services Limited and the related businesses. He is a consultant on company law matters at Hay & Kilner, solicitors, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Elaine Gibson (director) has been in the company registration business since 1982, dealing with all aspects of company formation work and the supply of ready made companies and company information. For much of her career this has been with a major national company, rising to office manager in 1991. In 1992 she became a director of Incorporation Services Limited.
Robert Morrison (Company Law Solutions legal services manager) left private practice as a solicitor to run our company law solutions services. His wide legal and commercial experience adds valuable expertise to the team.
Matthew Price (specialist companies legal services manager) is a Durham graduate with a Graduate Diploma in Law and graduate of the Legal Practice course at Northumbria University. He is responsible for all specialist company formations, including charities and community companies.
